Position: Full-Time – Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (Certified or Senior Apprentice)
Compensation: $39.74/hr + $1 CVIP bonus
Position Summary
We are currently hiring skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians (Certified or Senior Apprentice) to join a growing team at a well-established facility in Alberta. Technicians will support a large-scale operation with a total of 14 mechanics on-site.
Key Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment

Complete CVIP inspections and associated reporting

Follow all company safety policies and maintenance procedures

Support both day and afternoon shift operations as scheduled
Requirements

Journeyperson Certification or Senior Apprentice status

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

Experience with CVIP inspections considered an asset

Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, afternoons, and weekends
Shifts
Initial Schedule:

5 x 8-hour day shifts (Monday to Friday) for first few weeks
Regular Shifts:
-
Day Shift: 4 x 10 hours (approx. 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Afternoon Shift: 4 x 10 hours (approx. 2:30 PM – 1:30 AM)

Includes $2/hour shift premium

Weekend Shift: 3 x 12 hours (approx. 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Work 36 hours, paid for 40

Anticipated $3/hour shift premium (to be confirmed)
