Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic to join our team. This role supports our snow removal and fleet maintenance operations, with a fast-paced winter season and steady summer schedule. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic and repair abilities, can work independently or as part of a team, and is comfortable with rotating shifts and on-call requirements during winter operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on heavy trucks and equipment 

  • Complete routine service work, inspections, and preventative maintenance

  • Provide on-call support for service calls during winter operations

  • Respond to breakdowns during snow events as part of an all-hands-on-deck team

  • Work rotating day and night shifts during winter months

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and work performed

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards


Requirements

  • Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license (421A candidates also considered)

  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with experience working on heavy trucks

  • Ability to work extended hours during winter, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

  • Comfortable participating in on-call rotation for service calls

  • Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in fast-paced, weather-driven environments

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a rotating shift team


Pay & Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $42 – $47, based on experience

  • Overtime: After 44 hours per week

  • Health benefits: Available with a standard 1-year waiting period 

  • Group RRSP: Available after 1 year
