Hours: Day Shift
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annually
Position Summary:
We are seeking a hands-off Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a busy mechanical shop environment. This leadership role is responsible for managing workflow, supporting staff, and ensuring efficient shop performance. The successful candidate will supervise approximately 15 team members and play an active role in performance management and operational planning. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead Hand or senior technician ready to step into management.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and support a team of approximately 15 staff including mechanics, apprentices, wash attendant, and tool room personnel

Schedule and coordinate daily shop workflow

Delegate work effectively to ensure productivity and efficiency

Participate in performance reviews and staff development

Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment

Provide leadership and operational oversight in a hands-off management capacity
Requirements:

Previous experience in a shop leadership, supervisory, or senior technician role

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage workflow and support a diverse team

Trade certification is not required but considered an asset

Desire for long-term employment and stability
